Info open the main lid it knocks the intank cup off? Also where should the water line be in chamber 2? I have it just below the blue screw? Also with the screw, how so I know what the best setting is, I have it about 3 turns out from screwed down..... Sorry for typos, my phone is acting crazy! Link to comment
Bigdog67 Posted June 10, 2013 Author Share Posted June 10, 2013 Update on the skimmer. I got it in chamber 2 next to the rack. It is making bubbles but the bubbles are halfway up the tube and nothing in the cup. There is a brown gunk line in the middle of the tune but nothing in the cup? Will it start to fill the cup when it breaks in? Link to comment

Why does it take a week or two to work correctly? Stevie do you have any videos on where the water line should be for it or what to look for while tuning the skimmer? I watched the videos when I bought the skimmer but it just shows the cutting of the tab inside chamber 2.... Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 The inside of the body needs to slime up. Then the bubbles can pass more easily and fully into the collection cup with the organic waste. There is a line on the side of the body. That is the maximum water level line for the skimmer. It likes to work best about 1/2" below that line so set it somewhere around there. Ok cool!
