Hello all I am new here, I began a nano tank recently for a contest on another forum and starting to really love nano's.

I came to the conclusion I want to do a tank that is easier maintained in exception of water top off's, actually that is all I would like to have to do majority of the time. So I was thinking inverts, and I stumbled upon some of your tide pool inspired biotopes.

I am leaning to doing a Caribbean tidal pool, but could pretty much sway witherway because all I have so far is 2 hermits and 2 emerald crabs. But mainly looking to do a carribean tank because i want to keep it simple with only a hob filter to add water volume and give it a gentle flow so Ricordea mushrooms are in thought for coral.

Right now the live rock and 2 hermits are in a 10 gal under a par38, while the 2 emeralds are in my 55 gal main tank in my living room.

I am about finished with my 20 gal that I am changing the dimensions of. It was a 20High and I changed it from 24x12x17 to now 24longx17widex12high.
