grmoore
Nicely done! I would toss the Chaetomorpha though. It's doing nothing for the display other than sapping nutrients from the other plants. Link to comment
ExSmoker
What a Fantastic Job Looks very good. I too have wated to build a Pico Macro tank and when I do, I hope its even half as beautiful as yours. Amazing colors and great photos... Following your build, and I request more photos ... Link to comment

leonel619
Thanks! This is actually a very low maint tank. I dont do much to it just clean the glass once a week, i take out about a quarter of a gallon of water once a week and im using NSW. I dont dose or have any other form of filtration other than rock and sand. Link to comment

leonel619
So Gorgeous ! I love the colors ! Thanks! ok so here is a new addition: Not sure of the name but i think its a Halymenia Floridana (Red Sea Lettuce) http://s1197.photobucket.com/user/leo61904/media/20130527_201754_zps4fc41d1b.jpg.html'> ok so sooner or later i'm going to have to face the fact that i'm a need to upgrade OR stop adding stuff and trim back some. I already removed most of the coral i had in there with the exception of my gorgonian and the grandi palys. Link to comment
Wiilio
You can go ahead and send any trimmings to me Love the new piece! Link to comment

jadedanime
Do you spot feed your gorg? I Kinda want one, I was thinking of getting a photosynthetic one, but spot feeding as well to make sure it was keeping up. Also are those cinni palys? Those are HUGE! Link to comment

Those are HUGE! no, i dont spot feed it. i decided to go with photosynthetic only for that reason, I dont want to spot feed anything lol its already getting close to the surface so i need to frag it soon. and yes! those are cinnamon grandi palys. i actually just fragged those. i have way to many for my size tank. jadedanime
Do you broadcast feed anything? All I ever feed is mysid juice, mysid, and pellets for my fish and shrimp. I don't have the most conventional light. It bleached my palys, but doesn't really effect anything else, so I'm not sure if it's good enough for a gorg or not. And those are some of my favorite palys. I'm always looking for them at my LFSs, but so far no luck. :/ Also how do you go about fragging your palys? I'm afraid to frag mine away from a crop of zoas I have, but they are bothering and smothering them out. :/ Link to comment

jadedanime
Yea, well these palys might have had other issues. I've been feeding them more and they seem to be bouncing back. Do new ones grow from the stubs? Link to comment
ccapasso
Very nice setup! All of the macro's I've received have been shipped so far and all have been shipped via Priority Mail. Basically, the macro is wrapped in paper towels, and put into zip lock bags with some water. This has seemed to work well for me receiving them. After mine grow out some, that is how I plan to try shipping them. Link to comment
