metrokat
Stevie, do you think this will fit even with an overflow in place? Link to comment
Lawnman
From the pictures it looks like you will have to notch out the back. Link to comment
SerenityReef
Why do you think we notched the back Hopes! Link to comment
StevieT
There is no back . I will take new pics biput an over flow wont matter at all. Height may be an issue with some leg mounted lights but not much. The cover can be slid back to avoid the light. The is a front and top which is bent. Then a left and right piece. No rear. And no point to have one. I never had one on my original design years ago. Link to comment

Spirofucci
Way cool! Another plus for this is that it covers the J tube on the lifereff overflow to help keep the algae from growing in it..... Link to comment
StevieT
Yes, it will block the light. I used my old cover on the IM16 to do the same, The rear chambers were getting chalked full of algae from the overhead light. The cover sits above those hood pins. I don't have them on my tank anymore so I can't 100% visualize them. Will capture a few new shots soon Link to comment
metrokat
oh I see it now! That will work both with the overflow and hopefully with the lights also. Link to comment
StevieT
Check the dims. The cover can be slid back past the cord channel until it hits the molded piece cord separation piece by the power center. That gives you 3/4" less depth. You will want to check the height. Link to comment
ralphj
Hi Stevie, Is there a way to get the cover in white and pay extra for that ? Link to comment
StevieT
Hi Stevie, Is there a way to get the cover in white and pay extra for that ? Right now no, we are still judging the market on the white color. It may be something we do in the future as we have had a few requests. You could always paint the cover white with krylon fussion. StevieT
Any chance you'll make these for the IM nuvo guys? And any ETA on nuvo24 baskets? We are keeping updates on the baskets here: http://shop.mediabaskets.com/Innovative-Marine-24-Media-Basket-IM24MR.htm Hopefull early July, I don't have a date yet and will post one instantly when I know. I have a cover on my IM16 to keep light out of that chamber thus hindering algae. The problem with the IM"s that I see is some, or most will have clamp on lights? Meaning we would need a notch, and how big to make that notch? I have my radion hanging from the ceiling. What do you think? Link to comment
Lalani
Gosh, Mr. T, do you ever sleep? Link to comment
StevieT
Gosh, Mr. T, do you ever sleep? sometimes. But with no day job for almost a year now we are really knocking out product development I think we have 46 part number just for inTank products now. Link to comment
Eckozulu
I see the clamp light problem for all the nuvo's, but the 24. We don't have that problem. But for the rest, most people that will purchase these covers will likely have upgraded lights. Usually one of the first things done, besides media baskets. Thanks for the update!!! Link to comment
