yousaidreefer Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 I've been thinking about getting this ATI PowerModule LED for a 30x3024 cube. Actually looking at the 8 light fixture. Anyway I wanted to ask a couple of questions. Do the fans make much noise in the room? How does the growth and color compare to the radions you have? The only thing about this fixture of course is the long term cost of bulb replacement and slightly higher engery bill. I was thinking of 2 radions or 2 kessils as LED alternatives but I've always heard T5 gives you better growth and color. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Options Considering: 1X ATI LED PowerModule (8x24) = $1300 + Long term bulb expeses 2X Radion G3 Pro = $1600 (no bulbs to buy) 2X Kessil - $800 (LFS says they are releasing a controller for a extra $100 this fall so they can be controlled without the expense fo a full reef controller) Least expensive of the bunch but also only 90w each so....
