This tank really came into mind about five months ago, but it has been slow going, I had to build the lights, build the stand, gather all of the new equipment and go to school at the same time. So after five months its finally “done”, I put that in quotes because nothing is really ever done and I will definitely be adding different corals to this tank.

Love the idea of tank with as much DIY as you can - you've got a lot of talent and patience. Those mushrooms on the top look insane

thanks!

I went with DIY for two main reasons. First i could tweak almost every aspect to make it exaclty how i want it, and two it saved me money in the long run to spend on more stuff for the tank :P

I just bought those mushrooms from a not so local reefer (45 miles away..) and he sold them to me for $5 for both so i picked em up and i like the color i get from the LEDs.

Any sump pics? Beautiful tank btw :)

Thanks!

I'll see if I can snap a few shots of the sump tomorrow,
