So I've been away for a while. My tank pretty much crashed due to a large drop in calcium and I neglected it for quite a while. Fortunately, I managed to get my parameters back in order to start round 2 (with a lot of newfound knowledge).

Time to start slowly adding things to this tank once again. I have to say, I'm pretty excited omgomgomg

Here's a small start:

You HAVE been missed . Sorry to hear about the crash though. I'm glad your fungias survived (scoly too). Are they not in this tank yet? Welcome back :)

Thanks, Gena! I actually bought a BTA so I have been waiting until he settles in to bring back the rest of the gang. My LFS has been nice enough to watch them for a while.

Your tank is looking most wonderful, I might add ;)

So after a long period of losing corals, I still could not pinpoint the exact issue of why things were dying. After finally buying a magnesium test kit I so desperately needed, I discovered that my magnesium was way too low.

Now that I have almost fixed the issue, it's time for round 3. Third time's a charm, right? fingerscrossed

Haha I think when people list stocklist/equipment in their first post they should ALSO list their camera and lenses. ;)

Please?

Oh, and where are you from in Ohio?

Wow. I'm glad you are back, your photography is simply amazing.

Thanks! I'm happy to be concentrating on the tank again.

Ha. It's a Canon Rebel XTi with a 100mm macro. The other lens is just the stock lens that came with the camera.

I'm from Dayton.
