False floor in biocube 29 in chamber 1?

Hi guys,

 

I see many people talk about doing this mod in chamber 1. Are their any threads that can show me how to do this. Also, is this mod done so people can put a submerisable heater in chamber 1?

Its been over a year since I did it but was the first thing I did before setting up the tank, getting rid of all the false floors of the biocube, you need to put some pressure in of the corner till it snaps out, Can't remember if i snapped it up or down but alot of force is the trick, I remember some silicone came off along with it, don't mind that it was used to just keep it in place, now you have room to add whatever you want in that chamber....

i just pushed it out with my hand.... don't be afraid to apply some force.

I used a wooden spoon with a long handle haha.. But yeah push hard on te corner and bam.. It's out. Heater fits nicely in there

In doing this, does I break the floor? Can it be put back into place? I was to clean chamber 1 and get a screw out that I dropped in there!
