m00z
Hi, Been keeping corals for 1 year, and I'm really inspired by all the TOTMs here on Nano-reef, so I decided to convert my current 22 gallon breeder into a 20 gallon (somewhat) shallow. After som searching here in the forums I came across this build and decide to try a similar cabinet build. Here's the blueprint (I live in Sweden so everything is metric ) but its about 35" tall with a footprint of 20"x20", the same footprint of the tank, wich in turn will be 12" tall. A good carpenter friend agreed to build the whole thing. I also cut three MDF panels, which will be attached by magnets on three sides for easy access. For display tank I ordered a custom 20x20x12, three sides in optiwhite and back painted black. I will be moving the livestock tomorrow, and post some pics of the tank and sump. Link to comment

nanolutionary
My auntie and uncle moved over there and say the crime is low, the prisons are rehabilitative and the society is just happier due to equality, aka polar opposites of where I am the UK and the USA. Link to comment

m00z
This is one of the best scapes i've seen. Thanks you´re too kind! The centerpiece is a composition of tree rocks, base, "overhang", and spiral, glued together with reef putty. Inspired by this tank. Link to comment
nanolutionary
it's going to look 10x better once its grown out too, i love that tank as well, especially the palm tree detailing and monument on the surface. Link to comment

m00z
Here's a video update. Unfortunately the mandari didn't make it; it got stuck in an unsupervised tube during a water change (still mad at myself for that) and one of the clowns jumped out of the opening in the corner of the cover glass where the mangroves are growing. I've lost 2 struggling frogspawns, but the big guy in the corner seems to be doing fine. Two BTAs were added about a month ago, and one of the clowns is showing a bit of interest in them. m00z
Update: Most of the alveopora had died but what's left seems to be alive and kicking. Frogspawn seems to be having some problems. Duncan, green candy cane, and geen montipora doing well, as well as a red montipora frag that had almost completely receeded which now is starting to grow again. Saffy the Mandarin sucommed to an unattended hose during a tank cleaning but clowns are doing fine. New additions include a beautiful blue goniopora which is starting to open up a little during the day. I have also switched to BB due to the large amount of detritus build up. Link to comment
