This is Nils, my Blenny from my old desktop tank...did not know where to put him, so he has to wait for a new home.

But he seems to be happy with the situation.

Hi lljdma06,

I bought the light directly from http://www.zetlight.com/ just write an email to them and they will surely answer you fast and friendly!

The light is absolutely awesome, it comes with a remote control and is dimmable in 5 steps.

Blue and white / red / green are separately dimmable.

And it has cloudmode / flashmode, no joke ;)

Xeell

Nice looking tank. I tried to keep a clam in my Spec a long time ago, but didn't have any luck. It's going to require a lot of water changing to keep your calcium high enough. Not that doing a water change in a spec takes much more than 15 minutes. I'm curious to see if you have better luck than I did.

That light looks awesome. I might consider changing the light on my spec to one of those!

Hey guys,

thank you for your compliments.

@frags4life: I plan to keep mostly LPS and SPS

@Islandoftiki: I got the clam with around 4-5cm and now it has 6-7cm :) and I kept it in my 20L desktop tank, so no problem until now

@GHO5T: thank you, had to wait long until the fluval spec 3 came to germany...

Kind regards,

Xeell

It does sound like an awesome light. :) I'm very interested in possibly upgrading my Innovative Marine in the future if the price is good.

I just inquired into the pricing from them yesterday and it's about $73 shipped. Really fast response. I will probably upgrade to this from my EcoPico. Only part I'm not comfortable is they located in Hong Kong and will only accept a direct transfer through bank account. I'll just bite the bullet anyway. :P

I'm already ordering some products from them. If you want me to order it for you we can split some of the wire fee's and stuff, PM me.

Tank is looking good. I'm waiting on my 4 galllon tank, and this same LED light to show up.

Question, was your live rock cured before you received it, or all live? Definitely lots of great coraline and hitchhiker stuff on there.

If anyone is interested in one of these LED light setups PM me, I ordered a few extra to offset the wire transfer fee of $45 alone, and the high costs of shipping. If anyone is interested i'll have a few extra to ship soon.

Hi guys,

time has passed and I have some news regarding my tank.

Impressions:

I have moved to another city, so the tank had to move with me ;)

Something terrible happened with Aqua Medic Reef Construct:

Then I decided to try a reef pottery.

Just some pictures:

Then of course I needed a protein skimmer, so I decided to build one:

Finally my reef pottery arrived and I started with salt and sand:

After 3 hours it looked like this:

Then I started to move corals and inverts to the new tank:
