Everardc
Where'd you get yours from? I wanna know the same thing... My Acid Reflux's melted sadly in the 40B crash.. really want a fresh colony. Quote Link to comment
NYfishies
Mine have also melted . Some zoas are not meant for captivity. These may be one of them. The Krak Gods, Asskraks and Wowserz also melted after a few months. Even after fragging them and having good success with growth. Money spent, lesson learned! Quote Link to comment

JillianAG
Can someone help me with this guy? It's been in my tank for about 5 weeks and has almost doubled in size - looked great u til about a week ago. The side in the pic is the only area affected - other side is still opening as usual. It looks almost like a small section shriveled and is dying?? Thanks in advance for any help or advice. added another photo - while I checking it out better, I noticed a tiny micro brittle star in it. I tried to get it out (last resort idea) and when it closed I got a better pic of the upset areas :-( 14G biocube - all parameters very good flake, frozen brine, liquid zoo plankton mix twice - three times a week 2 - 36w pcs BTW i really need leds - been looking and overwhelming myself! would like a top mount (removing hood) - programmable - any recommendations?? Thanks!! Edited May 1, 2017 by JillianAG Pic added Quote Link to comment

twowilldo
May I join you guys? I am just beginning to start my zoa garden... have a ways to go. Here are some of mine to share... could not find an identifier for the one in the middle... looked in the zoa library and looks like there are some there, also... no name. Taken with my Samsung Galaxy phone. Quote Link to comment
MrsK
This thread makes me happy (and a bit jelly) Can someone tell me the name of my zoas? Red and purple/deep blue skirt, red ring, red sun burst looking lines, purple/deep blue everywhere else. 2nd pic, not true to color ? Yellowish orange skirt, then green with a yellow mouth. Thanks! CinnamonTorch
Hi everyone! I’m currently having some trouble with 2 of my zoa frags they were expensive and i dont want to lose them.. they both appear to be “melting”. Both frags also have this “greenish” layer around them.. i dont know what it is.. here is a picture, but the zoas havent fully extended for a few days, they appear to have this “melting” look.. please let me know what i can do to save them and also do they affect my other zoas that i have in the garden!? p.s. paramters are spot on perfect.. literally.. everything in the tank is doing fine, this is just a disease which i dont know how to cure thanks and happy reefing!!
