PC superman shouldn't have yellow at all, if it does it is not true PC superman... granted the yellow would make it even hotter as true yellow isn't overly common in SPS but still not true PC superman ;)

Just as it should be.

Yeah, I didn't know if Kat had a joke in their or something? If she did it went over my head. The frag I have is definitely red with blue tips and will grow in a table once it is happy

I'm not kidding. This coral is being sold all over the forums and with coral vendors as PC superman.

Here's a post that shows the frag was lime green but 1.5 years later has only blue and red

So the Q I had was because this coral is on my wish list. And I'm trying to find out if it changes colors in different tanks just like red planet.

The last pic above, this is what that piece looks later

Oh, I see. I think that Watchguy adjusts his pics a bit. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens with this frag. I think that it may change in different tanks based on lighting/params as you suggested. It is very possible that the base encrusting that this frag will put it will be greenish-yellow too.

There's one on Amazon that's looks pretty legit for $40, may allow you to free up one outlet on your EB8 by controlling with the V/S port.

http://www.amazon.com/Jebao-Jebao-Apex-Controller-Adapter/dp/B00P6JJKF6/ref=sr_1_5?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1418760152&sr=1-5&keywords=rw-4

I can happily report that I installed this yesterday and it did not fry my controller. It's definitely nice not having those bulky Jabeo plugs hanging from my EB8.

I was busy yesterday and didn't notice that the tank got up to 81.5 degrees! Ouch! I need to plug in the fan to the Eb8 again.

Thanks for the heads up!

First time I log in in months and I find this. Sweet dude! I'm coming back as well but not as hardcore this time. Looking forward to it.

Hey man! Do you have a build thread for the new tank yet?

No. Everything is in a petco 10g right now. Actually the scape doesn't look too bad lol but there's no light. It's amazing what will grow with no light. I'm going simple but rimless so I need to get a tank. Like to use a small skimmer but don't want to ruin the display with it so gotta figure that out. Fukin disaster with the old 30 shallow...

Love the new additions ark. Have you noticed any coloration changes with your SPS since the switch?

I have. My red planet has kept it's nice red color but has a bit more green in it which is nice. I have also noticed that my pearlberry is looking better week-by-week. The purple tips are looking even better than under LEDs and the soft purple/green body that pearlberry is known for looks fantastic. I have a blue stag that is really starting to show a lighter blue now, but that could also be a result of a better spread of light from the T5s though. I have had a couple pieces, such as my SSC and pearlberry, that are showing increased growth too. I can attribute these changes directly to the light because the only thing I have changed is the light and skimmer - I can't imagine the new skimmer would really change things that much.

Have you looked into the IM tanks? They seem nice.

There's a local that's breaking down his tank and is selling a sunburst anthias. Should I get it? It's about 2.5'' he said.

Thanks man. I think the corals are still getting used to the light be a few of them are starting a grow quite a bit. It's very interesting to see it change.

I think the sunburst is an awesome looking fish! Not sure what else you have and if you have enough room to add some more bio load.

It's all listed on the first page of the thread. I think my tank can take more fish. My skimmer is overrated for the tank by quite a bit.

I don't see a list on the first page of fish that you have?

I moved my maxima off the sand bed and high in the tank to see if it needs more light. I just have rotten luck with clams it seems. This little clam is about 2.5'' and never has fully extended in my tank. My other clams are on the sand and are doing fine, but this new one just looks half dead all the time. I don't like the look of clams on the rocks so moving it bothers me a bit lol. I hope I can get it looking good again in the higher light and move it back to the sand after it has recovered from whatever is bothering it.

It's a good looking sunburst. Not sure on his or his price though.

yeah, they're are all high on price. I figured I would offer him something if I decided i did want it. Still not sure.

Oh, I guess I deleted it. I have a kole tang, x2 perc clowns, a coris wrasse, a solan fairy wrasse, a midas blenny, and a yasha gobie.

Need a crazy acro, something rainbowish, any ideas?

PC Rainbow - http://www.battlecorals.com/Pro-Corals-Rainbow-Acro-425.htm

Raindrops on Roses mille- http://www.battlecorals.com/Raindrops-on-Roses-milli-378.htm

rainbows in spain- http://www.battlecorals.com/Rainbows-in-Spain-128.htm

tierra del fuego- http://www.reeffarmers.com/limitedtierradelfuego.htm

These are the first that come to mind. As Kat pointed out there are also some PC superman that get "rainbow" colors with the base turning yellow/green too.

I have seen some real nice multicolor no-name frags around too but they are in the 200-500 range. Not sure what your budget is :)
