ballhog Posted July 30, 2014 Author Share Posted July 30, 2014 Thanks GHill762. I have given away some of the frags because the frogspawn is growing like crazy and has basically over ran the tank. I doubt it would, but I was afraid of some type of chemical warfare. I gotta believe that is just not good in the long run, to be packed glass to glass with frogspawn, but it looks cool. Hard to believe 9 months ago it looked like this. I have had the coral for around 6 years or so. I have never seen explosive growth until I put it in my solana under a Kessil LED. It never grew well under MH, no matter where it was placed. Link to comment
ballhog Posted July 5, 2015 Author Share Posted July 5, 2015 Just to update on a years growth, everything on the sand from last years picture was sold off. I kept one large colony. Over the last year its seemed to grow pretty good. The picture doesn't really show just how massive the colony has become. Last week I did another round of 4 frags, pulling out 20+ heads , thats whats on the sand in the tank view, below. Link to comment
