Pinner Reef
Not much in the way has changed with the tank except the red bubble algae is getting out of control... like waaay outta control. Dunno what to do about it but I swear its a inch thick in places. Wait scratch that, I added a lil sixline. -pinner Link to comment
Pinner Reef
MOAR PICS!!! These are from a version that got too full but I can't find the bloody FTS anywhere. Njoy -pinner Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Alright so it's time to move again... Yay. Anyway wanted to get some before and after shots of the tank. I can't say I've been working on the tank alot. It's just doing it's thing, I'm doing mine. Hopefully after I move (and my roomate moves his frags out of my sand bed) things will look more the way I like them. Which is to say; less cluttered. 8066_zpsdd396897.jpg.html][/url] Link to comment
Lalani
Hi Pinner! Nice to see you're still around. Everything looks healthy! Got any particular plans for this one after the move? Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Hey Lani. Yep, Still around. I wanna/need some LEDs. Pure and simple. Just really hate the expense of Damned Halide bulbs. Gonna be another year before that happens (Just got a two pack of halide bulbs). Other than that no plans for upgrades. Everything is super stable parameter wise, so yeah, not gonna tempt myself into screwing up a good thing. Might end up fragging a few things in the near future. Link to comment
Pinner Reef
So got almost everything into the new place (just have a few more frags to pick up). I wanna redo my scape; get it taller, more trenchy. Enjoy the blurry pics! http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-26197-1378604064421_zps251f2e9c.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-1724-1378604065693_zps37ea2930.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-38953-1378604069184_zps0cb50cd1.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-8241-1378604067919_zpsb788a9d1.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-62040-1378604066000_zps6b4a2063.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-34567-1378604066472_zpsba25d791.jpg.html'> Still no upgrades... Pinner Reef
Alright. Soo pretty stoked on this new scape... Still got some minor adjustments to make the rockwork is solid though. http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-23721-1382048048387_zps1a9955a7.jpg.html'> Left Side http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-44469-1382048027375_zps32c46386.jpg.html'> Right Side http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-26136-1382048000288_zps9e119b4f.jpg.html'> Closer http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-62117-1382047900803_zps9fecc14d.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-51911-1382047819412_zps598f32fe.jpg.html'> http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-26463-1382047927719_zpsbadb531b.jpg.html'> Half topdown http://s75.photobucket.com/user/g12052/media/40%20B/photobucket-5067-1382047975335_zps53bada69.jpg.html'> Link to comment
Pinner Reef
These are my favorite corals followed by the problem children for future reference's sake. It was called a Pumpkin Patch Cyphestrea though the closest I've found in Pickin Posies, Looks more green in real life GARF Bonsai Browned out quite a bit. Grafted Chalice... Might have an actual name My lil Irish Moss Favia, The blaso Wellsi, Setosa (looks less yellow in life) Annnnd the problem children An Alevapora I totally forgot I had for like 6mos The blue chalice I dug out of Bryopsis Finally I'll find that pic of the discolored bifricated war coral which lost most its color and the Watermelon Chalice brutalized during the move. Very nice Thanks, and yeah I acutally ran a sump on this thing for a year or two. I ditched it after the fifth flood, haven't looked back since. I really dig the cyphestrea! Wanna trade? Actually really proud of that one. A reefkeeper friend bought it for $5 as a gift. It was on death's doorstep in the shop's tank... All betters now Link to comment
Sunar357
hah! I wish! Just got tank running so only coral I have is a favia frag. LOL Link to comment
Pinner Reef
Yeah, realized that right after posting... The only reason I offered is I can still see the origional frag plug whenever I look at the tank and I have a peeve about clean lines within my rockwork. Link to comment

You got me worried lol Crappy overflow; a Red Sea. It would lose syphon and the aqua lifter couldn't restart flow before my return pump flooded the display. I could have replaced it at the time but decided to leave it go for a paycheck. I got to likeing the quietness of no sump so I just tucked some of the macro into the display. A hum of my halide is the only thing I hear from my tank now. Link to comment

Thanks, I've kept my sump as simple as possible and double (triple checked nothing would flood in either directions if something fails...but it's still scary (and noisy) having water going up and down lol. Pinner Reef
Had a couple of new additions I'm pretty stoked on. First I got a free Jawbreaker... Don't worry it was glued to a bigger rock so the hermits won't try and take it's home. Yeah the pic is horrible Here is my lazy azz emerald scoping out the emerald mummy eye. Actually gonna pry the frag off the rock if anyone is interested in the dribble on the front side of the frag plug. This is one of my favorite corals that I Coralsit. I'm gonna get a frag for the effort... It's a Pastel War and Peace Favia Heres another pic of the lazy azz emerald (Not Pictured: Bubble algae) My wrasse hates clean glass... alot Finally, what I like to call the "Reactor Pool" shot Thanks for the look!
