ccapasso
NP, seems to have lots of people confused. Its a rare one (I think) the skeleton is of a frogspawn but the tentacles do look like a hammer. I'm at school will get you a quote later after classes. Enjoy your day. Didn't see a pm come through last night. Just following up. Thanks Link to comment

How can you even tell without seeing the skeleton? All PMS replied! Sorry very busy with school this week :/ Fruitloops sold, loose orange mushroom sold, and orange rhodactis sold. I have two smaller rasta frags each with at least eight polyps for 50 each. Thanks Link to comment

Thanks I'll bet you a gorilla-nipple zoanthid polyp that's a Hammer! The name "Hammer" is not scientific and in itself is completely meaningless - it's merely a descriptive trade name given for the shape of the polyp tentacles. This is even hazy distinction because if you look closely at enough Euphilia's you'll see Frogspawn tentacles on Hammer corals and Torch on Frogspawns, etc. (There are Euphillias with branching skeletons and ones with so-called ridge skeletons....and you can find lots of polyp shapes on those skeletons too.) Not that any of this really matters - it's an easy-to-care-for, beautiful piece that anyone should be lucky enough to have! Good luck with the sale! -Matt Link to comment
