So what do people think about entering two tanks? I have considered it. I was thinking of doing a Yin and Yang time thing. One tank super clean and hard corals, the other super dirty and soft corals. But I doubt that is going to happen, too much work to setup another tank. Yes I am lazy Link to comment

Theoretically,I could use a 40 gallon display tank as long as I only put 3 gallons of water in it?? Is this correct? in all reality could use a 40 breeder and only fill it with three gallons, but that'd be a super shallow tank.. Link to comment

The point was to let people mod on 10 gallon tanks by putting dividing walls for sumps and such. If you wanted to use a 40B it would be a very shallow tank like, <2" of water shallow lol. To be honest, when I DO win the RKL, I might just list it in the FS thread and put the money towards an Apex Jr...for an extra 30 bucks it's got net capabilities already in the unit...I like the idea of being able to control it from my iPhone.
