The blue-grey coral---anyone know what this is? It was bought as a tiny frag from someone who said it was some type of chalice, but I have never seen a chalice extend all these spiked tentacles. They are out almost all day and night.

Looks almost like a plate coral with a bit of an awkward growth. Is it "hollow" underneath or solid?

It has about a 1 inch by 1 inch skeleton below. It really took off growing after I switched from PC to LEDs. No skeleton growth but the skin is growing around the plug it was on.

Imo it looks like some sort of plate coral, but I would let someone a bit more knowledgeable confirm that.

Btw, LEDs  :D
