jedimasterben
Ok so I was curious with my tank if 2 MP10s would be a good fit with my aqua scape that's the same as in the pics? I want to put one on the back and one on the opposite side of the return. I have mostly LPS and want to get the motion that the MP 10s can give I want the rocking back and forth. 2x would be fine on a 75 and would provide a wonderful wave motion in a 75. 3x would be the best in Nutrient Transport Mode or Reef Crest mode, but 2x would be a good start. vash028
That's what I was thinking and unlike an MP 40 I can actually turn them up Link to comment
vash028
Well been a little bit and pics are coming just been really busy with work and school being a bartender takes up a lot of my time. But my new dotty back is doing great and not getting beat up and the pearly jaw fish is now coming up to me and checking me out. Link to comment
vash028
Well my B-Day was on the October 12th and i turned 22 and my GF said she was gonna buy me 2 fish woot and she loves Rusty Angels and the other is my choices so I'm going to get a Flame Angel. My plan is to get them smaller and put them in at the same time to help them like each other and my fish will not pick on just one. I'm gonna be adding more rock as well to allow some more obstacles for my fish to have to look around. I promise pics will be coming. Link to comment

I'd try and get two or three juveniles of one species, as small as you can possibly get them, and let them pair up. Link to comment
vash028
Ya that was my first plan but did some research and found that if you introduce them at the same time and when they are small they should do fine even being different species. Link to comment
vash028
What i am going to try and do also is get one male and any others females since the males become territorial. Link to comment
jedimasterben
What i am going to try and do also is get one male and any others females since the males become territorial. Well, that's going to be nearly impossible. None of the dwarf angels are sexually dimorphic that I know of (flames and rusty are two I know for sure are not), and they are also sequentially hermaphroditic, so it will not be possible to tell if one is a male or female, even size won't let you tell. You'd need to get them all at once as juveniles (as small as you can purchase them, an inch to two inches) and hope that they can sort it out, but people don't usually have a lot of success. But those that do love them - pairs of dwarf angels are awesome when they start mating, it's beautiful. Link to comment
vash028
Well i did a little more looking around and i haev came up with a 3rd idea since i just read about the sexing (the only thing i did research lol) i might get 2-3 rusty angels so i can have a little pack adn get them all small and with that im gonna be adding a little more rock for some hiding. And the good thing is I only have 2 clows in the med range on size a six line, yellow corse wrasse, mccosker wrasse and a jaw fisha along with a tailspot blenny and a purple dotty back. All my fish are all in the medium range right around 2 inches and the coarse wrasse and clowns and blenny are all a year old and the mccosker is coming up on a year as well. Going to also be getting my self a Xmas present of 1-2 MP10s for some good swimming current for the fishy. Link to comment

jedimasterben
Good luck with the long tentacle plate. If (when, really) it starts showing skeleton, begin dipping it daily in an iodine solution. Link to comment
vash028
Well i have read about that but so far so good and my LFS had it for about a month before i got it i kept an eye on it for that month and then pulled the trigger. It had very little to no damage to its tissue and no skeleton was showing from the get go. Link to comment
