Jacob042426
Does anyone think I can get a clam when I get my ledtric bulb? I am starting to do 80% water changes on sat. And 10% on weds? There is a sick clam at a lfs that is 2" long and looks like newmans. Link to comment
Jacob042426
Its only $40, thats why I was asking. I think it's a maxima. Its only $40, thats why I was asking. I think it's a maxima. Link to comment
JoelRHale
I wouldn't and here's why: it's your first clam, your tank is fairly young, they aren't easy to keep, it's already sick, and it's $40. The best case scenario is you bring it back from the dead and save $10-20 but the worst case is it dies when you're away from the tank, completely fouls up the water and crashes the tank. Just wait and spend a little more on a completely healthy one. Link to comment
Jacob042426
Haha, I meant a sick clam as in awesome clam! It looks very healthy, no visible problems. Link to comment
JoelRHale
My bad. Then yeah, for $40 it's worth a try. I'm a little intimidated to try one but if you feel confident and are changing that much water I think you'll be okay. Link to comment
