Very nice pictures. The Kat had me tearing up. Sigh. But congratulations, it looks like a tank that has nutrient balance. Everything looks healthy.

It's a tad pale, which is strange because all the other green sps are doing amazing...

Wow, everything looks very healthy.

So you are all 2 part dosing with straight RO/DI topoff?

And still keeping Alk at ~7.5?

I'll have to do some testing, but i'm exhausted. I rescaped, cleaned the MP10wes (1 of which broke), and started mixing a batch of SW. alk updates from the rents have been 6.7-7.5 dKH.

but yeah, BRS 2 part + mag, KZ Potassium, and 10G water changes every week.

I am about where you were 8 months ago. After a nutrient issue I've got STN on various SPS corals while other seems to be stable. The katropora is coloring back up so I've got that much going for me. :D

I think I'm going to cut the Kalk and go back to two part dosing.

Once your rested let us know what Nitrates and Phosphates test at. :)

I don't own either of those test kits, but I'm assuming higher than ideal because of all this gunk.

More proof gunk is good!

I'll need to snap some pics. but for now i need to relax. i've been up for 28hours straight. ( i didn't sleep a wink last night, i was too excited to come home). I think the gunk is a matter of flow though. I'm gonna crank up the vortechs and see what happens.

Hurry up and order the mp10 shaft, ecotech takes time shipping! Our katapora's look very similar except you got a nice colony there! Tanks looking great Rodger. I moved and bought a house not to far from you!

I have been pretty stable with alk, Ca and Mg. I just tested for K, Fe , I and Sr, all low except for iodine. I think I am running too clean trying to control Bryopsis.

Also just waiting for stuff to take off.

Going to get onto Flickr today post some pics. Thanks for the help on the BBC code.

Corals are looking good, nutrients make a huge difference.

Thanks Christine!

My myagi looks like that coral you had on your frag rack for awhile. Blue and purple with green tips. Did you ever find out what that one was?

So I am trying the Flickr thing. Getting hyperlinks but I want the picture to show up.

or you can copy the direct link to the picture and click the little "insert image" button here on NR, and post the link there to remove the hyper link."

Figured out how to get the BB code. But it show picture not available and link.
