timothymarsh
Well after a crazy summer and moving into a new house, this tank was overrun by a Cyanobacteria outbreak from hell. I think my sandbed was trapping a lot of debris and nitrates/phosphates just got too high. The tank is officially broken down as of today, with the surviving inhabitants going to my 12 and 7 gallon systems. I do not plan on reviving the system anytime before January because I will be leaving for winter break soon. Although in the spring I may take a shot at a simple nem only tank with some clowns. I have learned so much from this reef tank and it is very sad to see the empty stand sitting in my living room. I look forward to the day that the 15 gallon lives again, however now I get to turn my attention fully to my other systems. Link to comment
