I have had this tank for years but due to moving from Orlando to Denver and working to much I never got time to get it going. This tank was started Nov 27 2011.

  • 12 Gallon Custom acrylic with built in dry/wet overflow back
  • Maxi-Jet 1100 Utility pump for return
  • DYI Overflow pipe (barely any sound)
  • Jager 100 watt heater
  • Digital thermometer
  • Floating thermometer
  • 12 pounds of live sand
  • 14 pounds of live rock
  • 10 Gallon DIY Sump/Refug with 6in sand-bed (20 pounds of sand)
  • Two Koralia Nano 240
  • JBJ Auto Top Off
  • BRS Dual Reactor with Old model MJ 1200 using BRS GFO & BRS Rox Carbon
  • Tuneze 9002 Nano Skimmer (old pump model)
  • Hydor Flo on return
  • inTank Tunze 9002 replacement cup - The Blue one!
  • AI Nano
  • BRS DIY Screen Top

Former Equipment list:
20" 1x96W Coralife Aqualight Power Compact
Maxi-Jet 1200 Return Pump
Maxi-Jet 1100 Utility pump to sump (being replaced with overflow, i am still making it)
Maxi-Jet 1200 as powerhead (waiting for Koralia Nano 240 to come in the mail)


Day 3 update...dont know if I like this aquascape...any ideas?

Day 3 scape looks good. It'll give you some nice places to add some corals. I'd say keep it!!!

that was one thing i was worried about so i was pushing it and blowing the powerhead on it, it didnt move :)

so looks like i will keep it this way :) thanks everyone.

What does everyone think of the Ecoxotic PAR38 LED? I am thinking of the 20k

I am looking to stay under $120 for a led light for this tank. B)

Tank is doing well other then a few GHA but the hermits are taking care of it.

I got a few polyps and a xenia and also one of my fav fish a firefly!

Yeah he is a trip this morning he picked up a hermit crab and went all the way to the end of the tank and just threw him to the corner then went back home lol

Haha that's awesome that you got to see it. My reef lobster likes carry frags to the opposite side of the tank. He's nocturnal though so I just wake up to 3 of 4 frags in odd places. :lol:

I didn't see a game lost by a kicker. I saw a game where a player dropped a wide open pass to win the game. Then a kicker missed a kick to tie, but he should have never been in the situation.

Flacco would have choked in OT anyway.

Go Jets!

So far he is very active even during the day and I named him dozer since he always bulldozing the sand lol
