PC-R Bulbs now in-stock

:welcome:

The versions we sell will not fit in the RSM. If you wanted another version of bulb a 65W PC will fit in there but you will loose power even with a reflector built in. The RSM bulbs are so unique since they are T5 in size but use a PC connection for power.

I would stick with the stock bulbs. Red Sea is one company that actually got them correct from the start. The only thing better would be upgrading the entire fixture.

Red Sea Reefer

Thanks for the response. I had two replacement RSM bulbs on my order. Just picked up a 1 year used 130D for $300. I'm debating the tunze skimmer upgrade as I would like to upsize to the RSM 250 or New S series if I like the hobbie half as much as I think I will.

Great Price!

I would go with the Tunze for now. The 250 is a really cool tank but with a larger size comes more expense. Everyone is always upgrading so it is inevitable.

In the future we probably will start to carry the T5HO UVL bulbs. Right now I am just trying to get all the PCs in as these are special made for our nano tanks.

I will put them on the next order with ULV

thanks for the update, I will be keeping my eye peeled! I felt kind of bad at the LFS since they have to get you the bulbs at the register, he told me the total and I laughed in his face and said I can get 2 of them online for that price, sorry. Then I promptly left the store. His clownfish are like $250 each. So more InTank business for you guys :)

This is why some LFS are dropping like flies. We all can purchase from similar vendors and you don't even have to purchase in huge qty orders to get good pricing. But the strong survive and I am pretty good at purchasing and inventory management from another job.

I have a LFS around here, well actually a few that sell a Koralia 750 for almost $70. Yeah you have different overhead than me but when you don't sell any you really can't pay many bills with inventory on the shelf gaining days.

More inTank business is what I like to hear  thanky

no kidding..........

another call and email sent to UVL will post whatever they come back with.

Makes me really second guess selling these things if it's going to be like this all the time.

From UVL- We are receiving a stock truck today or Monday. They should be on this container, but not guaranteed. More as I know...

More as I know seems to be the standard answer, but it always takes an email or call to get that info. So we are hoping for early next week then, hope that brings new excitement to your Friday.
