Well its been a looong time since I wrote anything on my own thread lol

only real changes are that Ive got more Live rock and changed the scape a few times lol

since the photos have been posted on here I got a custom sump installed and diy overflows.

Im fighting with cayno at the moment, this will be corrected this week actually.

updated coral list..

kenya tree

once cayno is gone out of the display I will update full tank shots and stocking list photos.

Nice! But this is the wrong sub-forum. You'd get a lot more views in the member's tank part. ;)

HOW do I change the sub fourm?

Im not seeing how to move this thread?

Just for comparison -

I have a 65 gallon tank. My main pump is a Q1 ( Quiet One ) 6000 rated at 1800 GPH.

At a head height of 4 feet, from the floor to the actual return, it's rated at 1200 GPH.

This pump also runs two reactors, one for carbon, one for GFO.

Your 396 GPH at a head height of 3-4 feet puts out around 150 - 200 ... a little low for my personal tastes.

But, that's just me. Your results will vary...lol

Nice tank btw.

I completly aggree with you. I actually have a ball valve on the overflow pipe

and the return is full open.. Im getting a ( Quiet One ) 4000 in the new year. to fix this low turn over rate. also getting a few K2s

Also Fluval Vicenza 180 tank IMO are NOT reef ready tanks at all..

my stock drilled pipes are 1-1/2" ohh and I did think maybe I can re drill the hole? nope its tempered lol.

But hey Im a noop and I did not know this even made a differance, till now lol

Hey, your off to a great start with a 46. Good size to grow into.

Trust me, I've gone through tanks and parts like a pawn shop goes through cheap jewelry.

If I was to ever add a second tank ... I think I would go 125 fowlr and keep it super simple.

I love my reef fer sure, but the next build = super simple and super low maint.

DIY is the way to go. I just ordered an aqua styles kit to replace my PC fixture thank god himself

lol Im glad your getting a replacment, I keep checking your thread everyday lol

I like seeing tanks come to life.

Ive already got some GU10 bulbs ordered. I think Ill try 20 bulbs at first, then more if needed.
