Once again, the best avatar! (random I know)

Ha, thanks!

Ballz, It's past midday where I'm at, the lack of pictures is unacceptable.

And a horrible shot of the sixline. He's super hard to catch on photo:

*Temporary, I put it there just to illuminate the tank.

How does it look? I love the lid.

Haha I don't know maybe coral! What were your plans for coral types? When do your LEDs come in?

Just don't have enough funds in PayPal yet. And I'm waiting for some eBay items to sell, then I can order them.

I am already getting a delicious deal on some yellow polyps, GSP, zoanthids, and a little hammer from Teamschreiba. Then from there I'm not sure. Suggestions?

Finally

I like how the lid sits, is that metal or mesh screen?

Yes, I can commiserate with you about taking a picture of the sixline, they rarely stay still!

Coralwise, I'd just get what you have coming, get that in there and then evaluate colors you need, coral types you want, etc. Sounds like you got some good ones coming your way for starters.

Thanks. It's a fiberglass mesh, and I have a TON left over.

On my to do list:
- order a custom 10-12 LED Dimmable kit from Aquastyles
- get the API master test kit
- maybe some chaeto?
- more frags!!!

Just a though, with the live rock that sat dormant for 2 months, is that enough time for a good amount of die off? I let the tank cycle for 3 weeks.

Thanks! I love the white lid.

I hate the color temperature. It's like 6500k

I mean, it sounds like on paper your cycle should be done but until you have the test results we don't know.

I'd bet that it's done though. Especially since, you know, your sixline didn't die or start acting funny haha.

Once you get a good light over this thing, you'll see a HUGE diatom bloom....
Then, you'll be good.

I bet yer water has 40ppm Nitrates, and nothing else. (Barring phosphate.)
I'd srsly put $ on it.
-----------------------

Best way to shoot a sixline wrasse, is to set your lightness down a bit,
Back up acouple feet, zoom in to compensate, and use flash....

You'll get in-focus shots of the wrasse, and they won't be blown out by the flash.

It's been in for 24 hrs! fingerscrossed

Yeah I will have to try that. My camera probably can't zoom in that much though. Whatevs. I guess I will just keep doing small daily water changes to keep the nitrates at controllable and healthy levels.

I guess my nickname is Ballz now?

Yeah it is. It's just a better name.

With one fish in the tank you'll be able to too far less frequent changes. Do what you're doing until you get the test kit. If your ppm are anything above 20 I'd do like two 50% changes that next week and then cut back to weekly 10-25% changes. Of course when we have numbers to look at we can make an informed decision beyond speculating.

What kind of stuff are you selling to fund your lights?

Alrighty! Long story short, I buy broken Apple products, fix them, and sell them back on eBay (I am an Apple repairman).

Gotta sell that "brand new" iPod Touch first! Rats!

That's cool, I remember you saying that like 10 pages ago. My iPhone 4's touch screen is crapping out on me... Thank God I'm getting the 4S when it comes out!

Yeah and do you like how the glass makes it sit flush with the dimensions? I'm not a goofball.

Thanks Castiel!
