Yes, I can commiserate with you about taking a picture of the sixline, they rarely stay still! Coralwise, I'd just get what you have coming, get that in there and then evaluate colors you need, coral types you want, etc. Sounds like you got some good ones coming your way for starters. On my to do list: - order a custom 10-12 LED Dimmable kit from Aquastyles - get the API master test kit - maybe some chaeto? - more frags!!! Just a though, with the live rock that sat dormant for 2 months, is that enough time for a good amount of die off? I let the tank cycle for 3 weeks. Link to comment

I bet yer water has 40ppm Nitrates, and nothing else. (Barring phosphate.) I'd srsly put $ on it. ----------------------- Best way to shoot a sixline wrasse, is to set your lightness down a bit, Back up acouple feet, zoom in to compensate, and use flash.... You'll get in-focus shots of the wrasse, and they won't be blown out by the flash. Link to comment

JoelRHale Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 Yeah it is. It's just a better name. With one fish in the tank you'll be able to too far less frequent changes. Do what you're doing until you get the test kit. If your ppm are anything above 20 I'd do like two 50% changes that next week and then cut back to weekly 10-25% changes. Of course when we have numbers to look at we can make an informed decision beyond speculating. What kind of stuff are you selling to fund your lights? Link to comment
