My kids named him Shaggy instead of Scooby because of his beard. LOL. He's pretty awesome. El Dirtariņo does not have Adobe skills like you folk so jpg's for me. -_-

Yours would be pretty easy to put a hat on. If someone doesn't beat me to it...I'll work on it tomorrow :)

omgomgomg omgomgomg omgomgomg

Name please?

I bet he's super playful!

Where's Joe's Santa hat?

Haha thanks man! I said it on your thread but I really like the gumption you had with your scape. It's going to look sick!

Thanks!!!! The guy that owns our LFS saw it and wants me to make him some sculptures for his new 250 gal he is setting up in his store. I really liked making mine, it was fun and easy.

omg...these last two pages are filled with cuteness!!!!!! Love all the pics!!!!!
Any snow in the forecast, Joel? I miss it so much!

Not yet, it usually doesn't start falling in significant numbers until mid/late December here. We usually have a white christmas so it's all good. :) right now it's miserable outside- low 40's and rain. Why does 20's and big fluffy snow not feel as cold and 40's and ugly rain?

My kids named him Shaggy instead of Scooby because of his beard. LOL. He's pretty awesome. El Dirtariņo does not have Adobe skills like you folk so jpg's for me.

He looks like a Shaggy B) and good news you're friends with people who have adobe skills. I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to slap a hat on him.

Thanks!!!! The guy that owns our LFS saw it and wants me to make him some sculptures for his new 250 gal he is setting up in his store. I really liked making mine, it was fun and easy.

:haha:  :haha: We have very different experiences with our DIY scapes. Mine was slow, filled with speed bumps, painful, and at the end just frustrating. But it was all worth it.

Tell him you'll work for coral! You'll be much more likely to get things at a discount that way.

I leave for 2 hour's....

I know right? :D I'm pretty sure my thread is one part aquarium thread, two parts lounge. But I like it that way so it works out. I like you people and I like sharing other parts of my life and learning about yours too.

I decided I'd beat you to it, Gena

Very nice Felicia :) I knew by the time I woke up I wouldn't have a chance to do it before someone else did.

So Joel Any more pics?

Also what's your take on UV? I have to get one, the clouding is coming back the minute I turn the lights on for more then 4 hours. So hey bulbs can be a Birthday present as it is Dec 29th and UV is Christmas. LOL

I have the ? posted in my thread.

How's your angel doing?

Love her bow, I have to get some pics of the dogs as they come out of the groomers in our office, their so cute you could squeeze them to death.

I'm out and about right now (picking up new clown actually) and the frogspawn will be here so I was going to do some acclimation then photos :)

Went to lowes and bought screen supplies too.

Uv is nice but not needed I'd suggest your own RO/DI unit instead for the same amount of money. ;)

Flame is good, has decided it wants to be shy though.

Thing is I am using only RODI and the TDS is 0, I really have nowhere to hook it up here in this tiny house, no garage and our Utility room is pretty much the water heater and out Washer/Dryer. Everything would need a plumber to get it hooked up so that would cost more, I decided I have to go UV for now. I will get RODI unit for our 2 year wedding Anniversary ;) ! LOL

Was just wondering re input about these models.

OHHHH New clown! And a froggie! Jeez I get busy and now I am lost!

It's fine, is everyone having fun? I'm having fun. I like that so many of us share similar interests beyond reefs :)

Gotcha! I wasn't trying to undersell the UV, it's nice. You need to take care of your tank the best way you think you can and I think the uv will help :)

And yeah you missed a lot!

Here's Norma Jeane acclimating:

I originally bought a pair and one jumped so now I've fixed their ability to jump and bought a replacement. And a clown needs something to host (it doesn't but I'm a fan of providing realistic conditions for my animals) so I used my credit to get an Aussie Frogspawn that's going to look awesome :)

I drip some stuff, but damsels and clowns aren't those. My other reasons for floating LFS fish is their water is like 200+ppm nitrate. so I think getting them out of their own water faster is better. I usually float 10 minutes, add half cup tank water, 5 minutes, repeat until bag is full and then dump out half and do it again then release.

The froggy is acclimating now :)
