JoelRHale Posted December 23, 2011 Author Share Posted December 23, 2011 Nothing to report today, huge skimmate again, diatoms like mad, cutting off feeding completely until this all settles then starting back every other day with 12-15ml total every other day. Transferred the calupera to the sand to try to get this macro background going. Pretty sure the calupera is the sole reason feeding so hard didn't crash the tank. Tried to rescape, knocked over a bunch of rocks. Shrimp molted. And that's about it. Link to comment

Rocks pretty much back in place, I hate rescaping. Especially now that I have to worry about crushing a lobster to death. No FTS because the tank looks like absolute crap right now. Link to comment

Totally understand! I was doing WC today and realized one rock was not as stable as I thought. So I tried to reinforce it, well that messed everything up and now I have to get back in there tomorrow to check everything. It all dropped about 1/2 inch so I really need to restack the top rocks and scoot one base rock back into place. Annoying, and the Blenny hides in the rock do its not fun watching for him, and I am not sure where the Yasha is but I move things very slowly, so he can move if he want's to. This morning we had breakfast then we had to be at church so I could play in the band and that went really well (I expressed an interest in playing right when they needed lots of help so I've been on deck since 12-4) then we came back and opened presents and now with some down time I'm setting up the blu ray player and watching the tank. Which is recovering nicely, diatoms are gone, froggy looking better not great, fewer flatworms. It's a Christmas miracle! Link to comment
