ricepow Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 Trying to get my tank ready for my live rock that will be here tomorrow. Tank is about 3/4 full of sand and water. Basket has In Tank filter floss, 6.5oz bag of Chemi-Pure hanging from shelf on bottom and 100ml bag of Purigen on top. Can't run the AC70 any higher than lowest setting or it overflows from around the tube. Doesn't seem right. Suggestions please? Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 29, 2011 Share Posted June 29, 2011 That is normal with any setup on the AC70, stock or the inTank basket. There is backup just because the basket is forcing water through the media. The area around the tube was designed to export water by Hagen so that it does not end up on your floor. Link to comment

Do you recommend the 1/2 unit bag or the 1 unit bag for that basket in a 29g tank? Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 The 6.5 oz bag will fit on the bottom shelf of the basket. The 11.74 oz bag will fit on the top shelf. If you have the top shelf for chemi pure go with the 11.74 Link to comment
