That tank looks sweet! ;) Looking forward to see more pics with corals.

just a quick question
i have a 28 gallon nano cube and i was wondering which ligth would be suitable for my tank. which par? 30/38? how many 2/3?
i wish to keep manly easy corals, zoanthids, gsp, xenia, and some various sps as well as an anemone.
will it be enough? i could try to add/incorporate the original hood lighting.

thanks! fingerscrossed

For a 28g, customers have used both 2 and 3 PAR30's.

Just bought one of these last Friday and it got to me Monday! I'm not sure if I didn't set it up right or what, but when I have just the LED running each LED can be seen in my tank. It's not getting a blended spread like I'm seeing in these pics. Not sure what to do. I have the bulb with 1 Royal Blue, 2 Blue, 1 CW and 1 NW. It's the perfect amount of blue that I want just each LED seems to have a spot light effect. I'll get a pic up once I get home, but just wondering if someone else had this problem. Still a great fixture! :)

Thanks, the tank is a Mr. Aqua 11.4 Gallon that I drilled and installed a Glass-holes overflow/return. I took all of those pictures 10 minutes after I added my first batch of corals. Now that it's been about 2 weeks-ish later, I can definitely tell that the the corals like the BoostLEDs!

I ordered them last Wednesday and got them last Friday. I pick up my new 25 gallon AIO today. Should have photos soon. I will be putting two Rapid LED PAR38's on them so I will report back on how they hold up. They do look very nice by the way.

Coming. I have them on the tank but no water in there. Too many Honey-Do's over this weekend! Ugh!

Would one of these provide adequate coverage for a 24X7 bookshelf 6g aquarium?

I think it would be close if you keep most of your corals away from the sides. If I remember correctly the coverage is about 10" X 10" . I think John from BoostLED is better person to ask. You might want to contact him directly. He's a great guy and I'm sure he'll help you. I've dealt with on a few occasions now and he's been great. His customer service is awesome.

so I actually just set it up right now and both my ywg and b&w are trippin out.. the ywg is out of his burrow and kind of swimming around (not usually what he does).. is this normal? My tanks are now lidless.. im hoping they aren't planning to go carpet surfing

So here is a pretty accurate set of pics for the boostled par30 4RB 1CW 60 degree optics lamp over a 20H. It's the only lampe on the tank.
I will probably add another bulb (2RB 1B 1CW 1NW)lamp and make this an Acan tank. I use a boost lamp kit with this par30.

Here is a video to give an idea of the shimmer. It's not a great video, more of a test. Excuse me shaking the camera.
