BoostLED clamp and my BoostLED PAR 30 (60 degree - 2 Royal Blue, 1 Reg Blue, 1 CW, 1 NW).

No color correction - only resizing in Photoshop. Very happy with this bulb :D

What size tank is this (dimensions)? Do you feel the one BoostLED provides enough light. Looks really nice.

Depends on your tank dimensions.

I'm keeping LPS (Frogspawn, Duncans, Hammer) and various softies (zoas, palys, yellow polyps, GSP, hairy mushrooms, xenia). They all seem to be liking it.

The corals have been responding well to the single light. This is on a 24G Aquapod, which I believe is about 20" x 18" x 20" (L/D/H). I have it just about centered over the display area of the tank, approximately 8" off the water. I think it provides enough light for the corals I have now, but if I go for SPS, I may invest in a 2nd bulb/clamp, or at least put my SPS towards the center/top.

Bit off topic, but are you guys expecting to have any bulbs back in stock soon? Definitely interested in a 2nd clamp/bulb, maybe something like a 3RB/2CW 60 degree. I was considering a 4RB/1CW (which is in stock) but I think that might be a bit too purple/blue.

We should have them all in stock (except for the 2 Royal Blue and 3 Cool White) by the end of next week! We apologize for the delay.

It all depends on the weight of the PAR38 b/c some weighs more than others. We have seen some people use our clamp for PAR38. Hopefully some other reefers can chime in on this.

I'm wondering if I would need 2 or 3 of these bulbs for a BC29. Have any idea?
Thanks!

yeah, i'm also wondering about it being able to hold the weight of a par 38. I have an ecoxotic and a RapidLED. anyone tried it??

It works but you'll need to ensure that the PAR38 is directed downward. If they were lighter, you can angle it whatever direction you want--like the PAR30's.

just a quick question
i have a 28 gallon nano cube and i was wondering which ligth would be suitable for my tank. which par? 30/38? how many 2/3?
i wish to keep manly easy corals, zoanthids, gsp, xenia, and some various sps as well as an anemone.
will it be enough? i could try to add/incorporate the original hood lighting.

thanks! fingerscrossed
nothing like putting expensive, extensive amounts of water next to stupid amounts of electricity.

they say aquariums are like little slices of the ocean but in reality anything that can go wrong will go wrong; nothing for the inexperienced.

if I ever have kids i will never let them see finding nemo. EVER.
