carbon-mantis
When I ordered some chaetomorpha from you guys a year or so ago, it came with several small medusa worms hitchhiking along for the ride. You guys wouldn't happen to have any sneaking into your chaetomorpha again, would you? They turned out to be awesome scavengers, but sadly mine died when the tank crashed last year. Link to comment
johnmaloney
no i havent seen them in awhile, we eventually had shipped out all the chaeto and they depleted. i am trying to think of where we got them, i want to say they started off on gracilaria. what time of year was it?they could be seasonal like the caprellid amphipods... johnmaloney
they are at the very end of their season, they come on gracilaria and ulva (season probably over really) I think if you google Caprellid Amhipods + gracilaria or reef cleaners etc... you can find a thread in 2009 and again in 2010 and probably a 2011 thread has been indexed by now too with them...like clockwork every november/december or something like they start and run until basically the fish start returning to the area when the water begins warming up in spring. carbon-mantis
Ah well, I might check in again a while from now and see if they pop up. They were extremely hardy little creatures. When I first found them they had ejected their digestive tract, but tey managed to fully regenerate and come-to in a little over a week. Link to comment
Weetabix7
Have you seen the enormous Lions Paw Medusa Worm on Divers Den? Pretty cool. Link to comment

animalmaster6
I wanted one of the big medusa worms on DD a few months ago when I was interested in Emperor Shrimps. These worms are key to their survival in the wild and important in aquariums too. Link to comment

carbon-mantis
That'd certainly make for an exquisite species tank.I spotted an emperor shrimp on Divers Den about a week ago, but it was sold fairly quickly. Link to comment

I bet it was pretty pricey. They are fairly difficult to find and are hard to keep alive. Link to comment
