BigBad82
I currently have a Yasha Goby (Stonogobiops yasha) paired with a Randalls Pistol Shrimp. I'm currently doing a bit of research into future stocking plans and come across the Hi Fin Red Banded Goby (Stonogobiops nematodes) and have read that and I quote "It is not aggressive towards other shrimp gobies and may even share a burrow with another species." Would this be a safe addition along with my Yasha? Anyone have any experiences combining the 2? My tank is 24" x 16" x 12". Thanks. Link to comment

smilodon
I tried that before, yasha will chase hi-fin to death. Buy if you intruduce both goby into your tank at same time, maybe a different story. Link to comment

Deano
Check this out. Sometimes nature has a way of making things work out. Stonogobiops yasha, Stonogobiops nematodes, and Amblyeleotris yanoi. Not saying I would try to make this work in my tank but it is worth the look. Link to comment

kgoldy
I have 2x Red Banded Pistol shrimp, 1 hi-fin, and 1 yasha. Each goby was purchased with their own pistol, and they stay on opposite sides of my BC29. Link to comment
BigBad82
that's interesting to know, i'm totally torn on the decision. good to have all the feedback tho. Link to comment
animalmaster6
If the new Hi Fin will have another pistol it may be another story but in such a small tank you can never be sure. They might chase each other, not much territory choice. Link to comment
