Hidden cable FTW! Very clean.

How did you attach the light base on the wall?

Yeah it definitely helps a lot and was pretty cheap too. And it's just screwed into the wall which works pretty well.

Got this shot when I was feeding the tank today. And I'll get the shot with all my equipment up sometime tomorrow after I give the tank a good cleaning

Where did you get yours at? I'm thinking about returning the desk lamp i got from office depot because your setup looks cleaner.

I got it at home depot, I'm pretty sure it was this. It kind of has an industrial look to it even though its meant to be used as an outdoor floodlight.

hey schreiba, i just got my floodlights. different brand but basically the same thing.

instead of using two wires, i connected both lamps onto one cord and it worked. maybe you could try to to get an even cleaner look. i dont know what the downside is by using one cord instead of two. not an electrician or anything lol.

That's awesome you decided to use them too! Hopefully they're working out for you. But yeah the only reason I decided to do two cords instead of one is because if one day I wanted to have the lights on a timer so maybe the light on the right would turn on first then the one on the left. I haven't got around to this though and who knows if I ever will haha. But make you sure you post some pictures once you get it all setup!

You have a beautiful setup. Very inspiring.

Please tell-me what type of sand have you used.

Thanks! It's fiji pink sand. Here it is on a website if you want some more info: this.

I lol'd at this.

Nice shots TS, you're making me want to do dual 60-Fs for my reef/planted duo lol.

Oh, and I ordered another set of Aquatic Magic pipes for a friends planted tank I am setting up, this time the 13mm set. I'll let you know if they come in good quality as well.

Thanks schg! And yeah definitely let me know about those too. I keep getting so close to ordering the ADA ones but when I add the cleaner tool and the clear tubing along with the pipes the total ends up being like $180

LOL I thought you were on a budget, why even look at the ADA ones? They are nice though...

Take the cheap way out whichever way you go, for the time being there are alternatives to those. I bought my clear tubing from ACE hardware for less than $3, and just cut it so that the portion visible didn't have the black lettering visible (there is only writing on the tubing every 10" or so). Also, I bought a spring washer from Pet Supermarket on clearance for $1, but Petco has one too that is about $3.50. It doesn't look exactly the same, but it works just fine and you'll save a ton of money right now.

And with that you convinced to buy the aquatic magic ones haha :P I just got them off ebay and they should be here between March 17-30th. In the meantime I'll look for the clear tubing and spring washer at some local stores. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah I've had that guy for almost a year now and I started with only 4 heads.

I should be picking up ADA 60-F this week omgomgomg

Congrats!! I love seeing other 60-F's. Do you have any specific plans for it?

hanging 4bulb t5 over it and after contacting ada im going to drill it and run a sump

That should look awesome. Especially if the only other equipment in the tank is an MP10. Any particular livestock or corals?

its going to be a mixed reef but mostly sps

That should be sweet. Are you just transferring everything over from an old tank or starting completely fresh?
