bneyman
Yea, if it's not him being the camera hog, it's usually the false perc. He can't make up his mind what to host though, one day he'll sleep with the brain, next day it's the pagoda cup, next day the 'shrooms. He's such a ho' (maybe I should saypimp daddy)!!!!! Blinkgyrl2987
haha thats funny... hey if you don't mind me asking ..how much did your skimmer cost? I noticed you said you have the false perc, a royal gramma, and a dottyback... and I'm trying to keep 2 false percs and a gramma in my 12 gallon... and I can't decide if this is too much.. I'm thinking that it maybe okay if I had a skimmer? Any Advice..I would appreciate it.... your fishes are so cute! Megan~ Link to comment
bneyman
I paid about $125 for it. I know I got ripped off and am embarassed to say how much I paid for it. They have a bad reputation about being terrible skimmers. I've done several mods to it, and it works well for a 12 gal tank. I'm still in the process of tyring to figure out the best setting for it, but it still pulls out dark brown stuff, not very thick though. It would be OK to keep those fish in your tank with a skimmer, even a seaclone. If you got a better skimmer that would be even better. My ammonia and nitrite stay at 0, trates range from 0-10, depending on how often i do WC's. Link to comment
