What pic is more accurate when you look at the tank with the lights on? Is the first pic overexposed and the second underexposed? When I take flash pics with my digital (Cannon A70), it seems to overexpose (even with exposure compensation) the subject and underexpose the background. My nonflash macro shots tend to look bad because the details are not revealed, so I haven't experimented with that for awhile. Your pics made it look the other way (of course you do have tank lights on). Link to comment
Korbin Posted February 9, 2004 Author Share Posted February 9, 2004 As far as exposure: I don't know enough about cameras to answer. But the first pic is how they look to the eye through the glass. The second pic is sort of how they look if you were to look down upon them from the surface. Actually the maxima would be brighter teal and the crocea brighter green. HTH Link to comment
