latteslave
I have a 20 long and have been looking for a nice stand. Any suggestions? Not looking to spend too much but has to be able to support the weight and if it could fit a sump (considering i set one up down the road) would be great. Thanks Honsetly, you could either build one to your specs - or buy one. Any stand that fits a 29gallon standard will fit the 20 long. Link to comment

SF2K4
I'm thinking of joining the 20L club in August. I'm moving into a new apartment (for at least 3 years) and am planning on upgrading my 5.5 AIO to a larger custom AIO. I was going to use a 29 we had at home but the tank's about 15 years old so I'd rather start fresh . I wanted to go bigger but I decided with my space and budget a 40B was going to be too big. So it was between the 20L and the 30B and quite frankly I haven't been able to find 30B's or their stands in stores anywhere in Alabama. I'm still not sure exactly what I'd want to do so I figured I'd let you chaps sway me . I know I can get a good deal on a TopFin 20L and a decent stand at the local PetSmart (I've heard mostly good reviews about TopFin, usually I only buy AGA/Aqueon). I'll keep y'all posted. jaygalindo
What do you guys think the best size t5 lighting is for a 20L. How is the coverage with a 24" fixture or is the coverage the same as the 30" since they use the same bulbs? Would 36" be overkill i don't think I would mine the 3" over hang. Thanks A soon to be member of the 20L club...X2 Link to comment
latteslave
Jay - the 30 inch fixtures generally use a 24 inch bulb. The nice thing with the 30 is that it fits the tank with no messing... Link to comment

DimePieceReef
I plan on transfering everything from my 10gal to my newly purchased 20L by marinaland. My initial plan was to drill it to a sump. Now Im reading that not all tanks can be drilled if the glass is tempered . I went to theyre website and it doesnt say anything about the tanks being tempered. Has anyone had expierence with drilling a marinland? I plan on drilling the back panel. Thanks reep peeps. Link to comment
