I didn't go through to see if this has been recommened already but how about a "faces in nature" theme. Things in the reef that aren't really a face but look like a face :)

Faces in nature sounds cool. Reflections, surrealism, Fungia, conchs, contrast, randomness...

I dont know if this has been suggested yet, but...

War?

My SPS corals have recently begun to go to war with each other because they are running out of space, and its interesting to see what happens. I have a number of wars going on in my tank right now. I'd love to see some others pics of coral or other warfare in their tanks.

I don't take good enough photos to win, its just a topic that has been on my mind a lot lately, as every few weeks I have to mitigate another war.

It would be a really cool shot but [critter/cat/dog/child] photobombed it

Or a hermit peaking over a rock---SOON

Oh, don't suck so hard next time; all you need to do is get it going, the rest will come on it's own, i have never gotten any in my mouth.

I got my stuff from reefcleaners today too.

Unusual pairs.

Like a goby sitting next to a peppermint shrimp, or a Acro crab sitting on some Lps without getting eaten or something like that.

I am not sure if this has been said yet, but what about extremely large or extremely tiny examples of the fish commonly found in our tanks? Like who has the biggest mushroom or the smallest featherduster? Only rule is that there is something universally recognizable in the photo for size comparison.
