Hello fellow Nano-Reefers! I had posted on another board about my Blue Spot Jawfish and posted a pic. A couple of folks asked to see some pics of my tank and set-up. I've had this BC29 going since Sept. of '06. It has been, and continues, to be a work in progress. It's amazing how your tastes change with time. Originally, everything was pretty much stock. Then I did the usual mods, i.e, widen the chamber between 1 & 2, added a Sapphire Re-Circulating skimmer in chamber 2. The pump has been changed to a Rio 6hf with a Hydor-Flow attachment, the pump is in chamber 3 along with a Stealth 75 watt heater. I also have a Tunze 6025 Nano-Stream. I have a more "open" arrangement for the fish to swim. My corals are a variety of Soft, LPS, and SPS.

Tank

29 gal. Oceanic BioCube & Stand

Lighting

Upgraded to NanoCustoms 150 Watt 14k Phoenix MH HQI in BioCubes' Hood
2 Double 10,000k actinic bulbs

Filtration and Circulation

25 lbs. of Live Rock
3" deep Sand Bed ( for blue spot jawfish )
Rio 6hf pump with Hydor Flow attachment in chamber 3
Sapphire Re-Circulating Skimmer in Chamber 2
Bag of Chemi-Pure Elite with filter Floss in Chamber 1
Tunze 6025 Nano-Stream in tank

Misc.

75 Watt Stealth Heater in chmaber 3

Fish

1 Pair of Picasso Clownfish
1 Blue Spot Jawfish
1 Red Head Gobie

Inverts

(Forgot to add the obvious from the Top Down Pic:
1 ORA Maxima Clam)
1 Blood Red Fire Shrimp
1 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Emerald Crab
30 Hermit Crabs
2 Turbo Snails
4 Nassarius Snails

Enough of the descriptions here are some pics.

Nice choice in lighting. Your tank looks great with the 14k halide and double actinics.

The picassos seem to have grown up pretty nicely. Any chance of before and after pics?

Now that's a slick looking tank!

I'm looking at the BC29 along with the Nano-Tuners HQI upgrade (pricey!) to get back in the hobby after a long hiatus. Any heat problems? Are you running a chiller?

Thought I would post an update of my tank. As you can see, I have gone to the "stick forest" look!

Thanks fellas, but that pic is about 2 years old,LOL! It doesn't look like that now. I have since removed the zoas, and most LPS corals. I now have mostly SPS, acros and montis now. Still have the duncans and dendros as well, and of course, the Picassos. ;)

FYI, the pic on the previous page dated Feb. 6, 2010 is a more recent pic. Hope you still like it! ;)

I can see the most recent pic lol. Your thread is only one page long.

Change your setting to 100 posts per page. The pros do it that way :P
