Close, shipping a 15" cube tank will be about $110 to Korea. :) Not too bad really. About the same as the tanks I send to the UK.

Tanks looks really good. How long have you had it setup? Still doing computer cases?

Oogie, buddy, I see your still making us all look bad with your awesome reefer skillz!!! Good to know you're doing well in Korea even though you ran out on us. It's also good to see your kids are doing well!!! Keep us updated with pics and news on your tank (in that order!) ;)

I vote that NR Knight Oogie to become Sir Oogie of NanoReeferdom!!!

Oh, and I can also vouch for First Class Aquatics! I had an overflow created which was built exactly to my specifications. I recommend FCA to anyone needing acrylic work.

Smartest Moai on nano-reef.com! I know there are some stiff competitions but my moai's brain is so big, it sticks out of his head!

Here is a frag i got for free because it "broke off" the main colony.. its big for a freebee! I think its green slimer.

WOW! Beautiful corals, beautiful photographs. The lobos are my personal favorites. Best lobos I've seen in a long time! Oh, and awesome macros! I've seen all of those over the years and they really are as you describe, particularly that blue bushy one. It's amazing how iridescent it is! That red bubbly/flattish one is awesome as well; I was never able to propagate it well, only keep alive the fragments I'd find as hitchhikers but not get real growth. Cool stuff, man, the tank has some great stuff in there!

 Great shots oogie! Please keep them coming.

I think I see TOTM in the future for this awesome nano.

The combinations of coral and macro textures and colors make for some incredible eye candy.

Oh, and BTW, you didn't do so bad with your kids either!

Caesar777: Yeah, I wasn't looking for brains but when I walked in to LFS, I saw those 2 and i said to myself. WOW..... I must buy them.... LOL Also, the cool macros are popping up everywhere in the tank... I can honestly say, little bit of Phosphate is good for the tank!

travisurfer: Yes, your xennid warrior does look strong and whip my moai's butt...... but, my moai is smart! I am sure mine can out-wilt yours! It would be like Warriro vs Wizard! LOL

Needreefunds: Thank you..... I am beginning to understand digital photography.... I am gonna practice more! Thanks for the kind words!!!!

hey oogs,
how are the prices of the corals and fish here in Korea? comparable to the States or no? And have you had any luck finding clams by any chance?

OK, so fat this is my take on korean coral market.... Well, at least here in Busan.... Compare to US, Softies and LPS are just as plentiful, colors are nice and its about the half the price as US market... I specially like the LPS they have here! SPS are scarce and hard to come by and colors are pitiful compare to US market... One LFS I go here in busan just imported 200 clams... So I think clam is pretty easy to get here also....

As for fish, price is much cheaper then US i think.... For example, I bought 6 line wrasse in US for about $30 in US, I got it for 8000 Won, which is like 9 us dollars. My favorite fish Domino Damsel, I would have to pay about $15 to $20 bucks in US, I can get one for 3000 won which is like 3 bucks in us dollars...

Hope this helps!

Another interesting thing is, Korean people love huge SPS. Size is almost as important as colors which I don't quite understand.... So when I stroll by LFS on a day of shipment, I can sit there take broken off pieces that are like 3-4 inches for free! I got couple in my tank now.

Lucky you! Your tank looks fantastic! Cute kids too! I will have to agree with the previous poster who saw NR TOTM in your future. Great thread and awesome pics. :)

I'm already big time. ~Nuhtty

First, I would like to say that I love your tank.

Second, I am sooooooooo jealous, I have been searching high and low for a Tangaroa Goby. I noticed you said it stays out all the time, are there any other things you have noticed about it that are interesting in comparison to other shrimp gobies? Oh and any advice/help on where I can find one in the states or tell my lfs where to look for one?

Thanks so much for any help you can offer. Oh and great tank again and cute kids.

Toomin, Duncan: Thanks for the comments!

arwndsh: Yeah I love my tangaroa goby I have.... In past few tanks I have owned following gobies.
1. Radall's Goby
2. Yashia Goby
3. Yellow Watchman Goby
4. Hector's Goby
5. Tangaroa Goby.

I am not sure if its just mine but Tangaroa stays out in the open far more then other gobies I had... Randall's Goby did stay out alot too but when people came in to the room, it hid. Also, when other fish moved suddenly, it hid. But my tangaroa stays out regardless..... Also, its been only goby that actually ate Spectrum pellets. Before, I need to feed them frozen food as it wouldn't touch flake or pellet food. I am not sure how it interacts with Pistol shrimp because its not avail. in here in korea...

Thanks for reading!

BTW, i think The Marine Center has it in stock. Check it out!

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I checked out there site and unfortunatly they have a minimum order of $149 :( and I was trying to find it local. I'm kind of afraid to buy fish online, never done it before. I found vividaquariums.com have them in stock as well, but again the whole shipping thing. :(. I think I will give my lfs a couple more months before I bite the bullet and order onling.
