After crazy move from my home New Jersey to Busan, Korea, I have finally started the nano tank again!
Even though I am a Korean American, it took me a while to get started because this place is really foreign to me. I am glad I can at least speak Korean and communicate.
Anyway, after searching and searching the net, I finally ran into korean reef site. I posted old photos of my oogiecube2, and asked where i can get some tanks and corals. It turns out there weren't many place to buy the tank I wanted, so I decided build my first glass tank with help of some glass shop person I met.
I was asking around for Starphire glass, which Korean people didn't seem to know what I was talking about. But I found out, there were low-iron glass made in Korea that was called "White Glass". So I thought, that must it and bought some sheets of it. I had glass shop cut them in 45cm square ( Yes centimeter! its driving me nuts! they also use liter instead of gallon, so when they tell me something in liter I just blank out!) or 17 3/4".
So here is some pics of cube. And i know, my silicone skills are far from good, but hey, it don't leak!
Here is close up.
Here is shot where overflow box is...
Here is shot of glass sump thats silliconed on the cabinet. I wanted to make sump as large as i can for this cabinet I am using.

I was always a big fan of durso but I just don't know where to get all the PVC fittings and such, so I thought of something different. I drilled hole on the bottom, then connect Tee fitting, so I can feed the skimmer, then I added a gatevalve to control the water height in the overflow box. Hopefully it work....
Thats all for now, and its good to be back!
