:welcome: to my Reef!

Preface:
First of all I would like to thank all those at Nano-Reef.com for getting me this far. I started with a saltwater tank June of 2006. I purchased an Eclipse 12 thinking that since I have done freshwater for years that this wouldn't be too much harder. Oh was I wrong. I realized that a reef aquarium is the way to go. So lots of reading and a few thousand dollars later here I am. If it wasn't for Nano-Reef I would have never been able to achieve my goal of a great looking, functional, and healthy reef aquarium. Everyone here is very helpful and we are a great community.

My Reef:

After growing my 12 gallon and fighting with the equipment I decided to buy the Red Sea Max August 16, 2007. I am very pleased in my decision. But rather than type boring words, I think pictures are more fun and get my words across better; plus they are all spelled correctly! ;) Please comment and enjoy! :happydance:

Dude, that's awesome. When you said you were setting up a tank in the office I was figuring pico, smaller nano, but way to go all out! I like the ato bracket, good idea. Keep up the good journal. Happy reefing

So now I'm on to the thoughts of more fish. As of right now I have a pajama cardinal and a good clean up crew. Pair of clowns would be nice but do I dare go black? As they say once you.... bla bla. I like the orange ones but there are choices.

My blenny found a new resting spot. The inward flow "holds" him in place, he seems to love it

Dead - Not enough natural algae in the new tank :(

well well well, you sure are busy these days huh.

You got nice corals selections.

Thats seems to be the case. Between reading nano-reef when ever I get a change to spending late nights at the office working on the set up. I have sure clocked a few hours into this cube of water with disolved salt.

I went zoanuts and have a good selection from their site. Now the goal is to cool off and let things chill. Then work on finding nice pieces. I have a ricordia shipment coming in tomorrow morning, this will polish off my "Ricordea Island" for the time being.

Just picked up a few fish................ Pictures to come.........but i'm not going to say now what I have purchased. The bill totaled $116.00 net for 2 fish that are mature and from a trusted source. This is after talking the guy down. No one said this would be cheap!

Thanks to you all I can enjoy a piece of the ocean every day at work sitting across from my desk.

What is this maintenance program?? You build it yourself?

Looks just like normal graphing programs available from microsoft.

Yeah, its a pretty simple program but this guy has reef related stuff programed in. He has fish and coral info along with pictures.
