It turns out(as best as I can tell) that the fans started rubbing against the dust gaurds, and eventually rubbed so much that they stopped working. When this happened, there was obviously no air flow through the pendant, and it fried the AC adapter. Well, I don't actually think the AC adapter is broken, it's just messed up. From previous pics, you can see it sits between my two 150W halides. This thing is toast. Good thing it didn't start a fire. Edit: The black stuff around the prongs is JB Weld, not melted plastic.
