20k vs 14k vs 10k halides

Which are better? Im really confused on this. I know they get bluer as you get to 20k but really how blue are they? anyone got a pic of a tank with 20k halides?

It really depends on what you want to keep.

The lower the Kelvin, the more Yellow, the higher the Kelvin, the Bluer. Middle is usually a crisp White.

14K is kinda right in between, depending on what type of bulb you use. 20K REALLY makes primary colors stand out, but burns out quite a bit quicker, and is usually less intense.

If you plan on keeping stonies, I would use the lower end of the Kelvin spectrum, if you plan on keeping mixed, head higher, depending on whether or not you plan on adding supp power compact lighting as well.
