Chrisl1976
I have a number of these plastic caves I used in my freshwater days. I was considering laying them flat and using them as my base rock from the bottom of the tank to my first layer of LR in my 2" sand bed. Around 2" or so deep. 7-8" area. I thought about using egg crate, but than this would eliminate sand dwellers and fish from digging under the rock for shelter. Has any tried these before? I figure it would allow for tunneling under the rock without risk of shifting LR. Any exposed sections would not look too un-natural. Any thoughts? Link to comment
