I do use a filter sock, switching it out once a week. I do run Chemi Pure Elite (actually just added it this week) but have been running it on my 55. I have room for a reactor and have considered a GFO/Phosban reactor. Not sure yet, still have yet to see any detectable phosphates and algae growth is slowing.
