rahorman
I added 40 lbs of live rock on 7/27, and about five pounds more a week later, both cured. I have lots of algae (green and brown) and was wondering when I should add a cleaning crew of shrimp and crabs/snails. My Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate levels have not really peaked yet, and have stayed pretty constant: Ammonia: .25 Nitrite: .05 Nitrate:0 pH: 8.0 - 8.14 Salinity: 1.021 I have been waiting for a spike but all the tests have pretty much yielded the same numbers. Also, whats the best way to clean the skimmer cup / neck? -Ron Link to comment
StevieT
I have added you to the RSM owners thread Fingers under water Add CUC after your ammonia is at zero. Hopefully you are testing with something different than the red sea kits Link to comment

StevieT
no not at all. You will always see 0.25 ammonia. Get an API test kit. Link to comment
