WhiteShark
Are you going to put a skimmer on there or just go with the canister filter? Link to comment
Lebowski_
I love Angels and Butterflys I am going to do a 40g Breeder below it in a few months time, got some Euphyllia's growing at work in case I do a reef then. Whiteshark, I am not doing a skimmer. I never have (although if I get enough grief I might have to change my ways...). I am going to grow some Caulerpa in there, hoping to help keep things balanced. Lebowski_
Very early, I regret taking him home actually. The dreaded impulse buy, couldn't contain myself. Link to comment

Lebowski_
It's a retrofit Coralife fixture. The colouration is from the Coralife bulbs, mostly the sexy Royal Blue bulbs they have now. Link to comment
Lebowski_
Tank cycling verrry slowly. I rushed it. Damn, my bad. The animals I added are eating and are quite active, live and learn I guess. Isn't it a bit wild that we can buy living things for a couple dollars? Will update again once tank has finished it's recycle. Link to comment
Lebowski_
BIG NEWS! So I picked up another ballast and two more PC bulbs. I've decided I am going to go reef with this tank. 4x65w PC is the amount I now have. I especially want Green Star Polyps. I'm going to move my spongeface crab to a 5.5g to live with a Pom Pom. The Long Spine Urchin will be moving to a Cardinal breeding aquarium I will be setting up with a guy at work. I'm pretty pumped. Also, I finally got a Nitrates reading tonight. I believe the cycle is finally happening. My fault it has been so problematic. Here are some pics of the new ballast (which will be fitted into a canopy my buddy is making me). Link to comment
