Peace All.

Here's a side view of Mari-The Fish Bowl Reef.

She's doing well and the Corals are growing FAST!!

I'm using the ABI par38 with 2 white diodes blocked, for a more bluish look.

The light is suspended 20" about the water line.

I use Instant Ocean Salt Mix regular, and R.O. water, mixed at 1.026.

Over 24 different types of Corals.

2 Mexico Hermits.

Micro Starfish..

Top off every 3 days.

Water Changes once a week, 25%.

Lights on 9 hrs.

Feed homemade mixed formula of Cyclops, Brine, Shrimps, Phytoplankton.

Blessings All..

Love.

Love.

Peace Natalia.

Thanks!! I had a Fish Bowl Reef in the mid 80s. It ran for almost 2 yrs. with a Duetto Filter and Vita-LIte with Actinic 03. After finding my original Fish Bowl in storage, I decided to set it up again but with the blessings of LED's and a tiny Cascade 170 filter, used for circulation only. The Corals are tiny, colorful, and more a variety to choose from, compared to back then.

Peace Nano sapiens.

Thanks! This is my original Fish Bowl from the 80s, I was chatting with Brandon and told him that in the 80s, I had a Fish Bowl Reef. After locating my old bowl again, I decided to set it up again but with today's technology and colorful Corals.

Today the corals are smaller and more colorful, more varieties to choose, compared to back then when the smallest piece was 5" long and limited to a few unique pieces, and brown Acropora.

Those were the days of Vita-Lites, Triton Bulbs, and Actinic 03, with the Coralife 50/50 bulb later making noise.

Blessings All.
