PMDC Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks! I guess I lucked out catching it before it got big. I've read they are both good and possible bad for a reef tank. Quote Link to comment
1fishmonger Posted January 16, 2012 Doesn't really matter. If you were able to see/pull out one, there are likely a bunch more in your tank Quote Link to comment
acropora1981 Posted January 16, 2012 Don't worry about bristle worms. You'd never be able to irradicate them even if they were a problem. Which they are not. Quote Link to comment
ThePhilosopher Posted January 16, 2012 I think I might have the exact same type of bristleworm in my aquarium. Keep the little buggers. Mine have been co-existing peacefully with all my corals, snails and the hermit crab. Quote Link to comment
PMDC Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks everyone for the post's! I put it back in last night. I thought one of my fish would have tried to eat it but they didn't bother it. Quote Link to comment
Formula462 Posted January 30, 2012 Wrasses will eff them up. We throw big bristle worms from work in the 1200 and let the giant corris wrasses tear them up. The wrasses have "whiskers" for a short time after. They are usually pretty good about getting the barbs out. Quote Link to comment
kveekx Posted May 13, 2012 I keep babys but over 2" flush! I have a 29 so I think 2" is a big worm! Quote Link to comment
