Aggregating Anemone

Aggregating Anemone

This shot was taken on 12/25/06 back when it was in my 3 gallon Picotope. There is now 5 of them clustered close together in my 29g.

    I got two of those!
Hmmm. Do you have a species name? Or do you know where it is from? "Aggregating anemone" is typically attributed to Anthopleura elegantissima, a coldwater species from the pacific northwest, and that's definitely not what you have. Possibly another from the genus Anthopleura though. Beautiful anemone.

I have a few of those too. Mine stay closer to the rocks, though.
